update

so tues before they released us from the hospital they checked her bilirubin levels since K looked a little bit jaundiced - it was 13.2 which is the high end of normal. had a pedi appt the next day and they re-checked it, unfortunately it was up to 18.5 so they put us on a bili-blanket for a few days. re-checked on thurs was 16.4 and they said leave her on the blanket for the night but take her off all day fri and fri night so they could get a true 24 hr check this am - came back 14.3 so no more blanket. dr appt mon am for a weight check bc it went su/mo/tu/wed 6 14, 6 11, 6 7, 6 5, so now that mommy's milk is in they want to make sure it is coming back up - though she certainly looks like it is!
in other news, mommy is having issues with her hip/leg....to the point where daddy made her go to the hospital last night (wow that was a late night)....they said nothing is wrong on xrays its just nerve irritation so they gave her dilaudid and told her she has to pump and dump for 24 hrs (i am NOT a happy baby about having to drink formula for that time!!) but its almost over and mommy is feelign a little bit better, just sore and achy, and tylenol is controlling it now.
